Kenneth Blum

Long-time resident of Fayette County, history nerd, and amateur podcaster, Kenny enjoys history and social studies podcasts from the Georgia Historical Society, Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, James Madison's Montpellier and more.  In the spirit of his favorite podcasts, Kenny hopes to preserve and share the stories of Fayette County, Georgia, and maybe inspire others in producing oral history projects.

Jerry Barronton

Jerry Barronton served as the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for Fayette County during the arson fire in 1982. He and his board led the way with huge support from the community to rebuild the historic courthouse.

Leah Banks

Leah Banks is no stranger to research and communication.  As a Senior Reporter for the Fayette County News, she has reported on our community, covering everything from government and health to social issues. Her background includes time as an anchor for Pack News and a staff writer for The Maroon, both at Loyola University New Orleans.  She is fluent in many aspects of journalism and reporting from content, development, photography, social media content creation, and web design.


Leah’s publications on Nellie Mae Rowe include several articles in the Fayette County News as well as in the Fayetteville 200th Anniversary publication from 2021.

Linda Howard

Linda is a long-time resident of Tyrone. She has served the town in many capacities and was instrumental in founding the Tyrone Museum where she often volunteers as a docent.
